EDDIE Pepperell tees off in Denmark today as he begins his Made in Himmerland campaign.

The Abingdon golfer starts his opening round at the tenth at 7.30am, alongside Sweden’s Sebastian Soderberg and Italy’s Renato Paratore.

Pepperell climbed to 206 in the world after two strong displays earlier this month.

He tied for 11th at the Betfred British Masters, after finishing joint 12th at the Canary Islands Championship in Tenerife.

And the Frilford Heath member feels he is getting back in the groove.

He said: “For me it’s just to play more golf, I feel like I’ve got back into the routine of playing, reflecting, making some decisions and ultimately getting better.

“Invariably that’s where success has come from in my career, it’s more frustrating that I haven’t kept on top of things in my time off.

“Clearly playing golf is the most important thing for me and that’s my plan for the whole year.

“Given where things are heading, I’m optimistic I can rediscover much of the form I had in the past, if not better.”
