OXFORD United have announced their retained list for next season.

The U’s have offered new contracts to Anthony Forde and John Mousinho, while Josh Ruffels was offered one earlier in the campaign.

But there are no new deals for Rob Hall, having made just nine Sky Bet League One appearances this season, and Dylan Asonganyi.

Highly-rated centre back Nico Jones has been released, two years after breaking on to the scene at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

U’s head coach Karl Robinson left the door open for Hall, who has played 112 times for the club across two spells.

“We wish Dylan well for the future, it didn’t quite work out for him here,” he told United’s official website.

“Hally is a difficult decision.

“We had a very good conversation and he leaves with our very best wishes.

“He has been an outstanding servant to the club but we recognise that he needs to be playing regular first team football.

“I am sure another club will snap him up but if not then we will be monitoring the situation closely.”

Jones has made just five EFL Trophy appearances since he was thrust into United’s League One side in April 2019, playing three times at the end of the campaign.

The defender signed a two-year deal as a result, but that expires this summer.

Elsewhere, Leon Chambers-Parillon has been offered his first professional contract following a season that saw him break into the senior set-up.

The 19-year-old claimed an assist on debut at Walsall in the Papa John’s Trophy in November and made four further substitute appearances.

Kyran Lofthouse has also been offered a new deal after an impressive loan spell at Vanarama National League side Woking, where he featured 35 times.

United have triggered an option in the contracts of Slavi Spasov, who was also at Woking before injury ended his season, and Michael Elechi.

Fabio Lopes, Fabio Sole and Under 21 forward Jack Stevens have not been offered new deals.

Tyler Goodrham has already been offered a first professional contract, while young goalkeeper Kie Plumley will be a third-year scholar next season.

Meanwhile, United's five loanees have all returned to their parent clubs.
