OXFORD United are still waiting to find out if Cameron Brannagan and Sam Winnall will be fit for tomorrow’s trip to Blackpool.

The pair each suffered hamstring injuries towards the end of Tuesday’s Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final first leg, which the U’s lost 3-0.

Both players have been for scans and Karl Robinson told us this morning United were waiting on the results.

Karl Robinson: If we reach Wembley it will be our greatest achievement

The U’s head coach did confirm Brannagan and Winnall will travel up to the north west with the rest of the squad after training today.

Sam Long is also doubtful for the second leg, having missed Tuesday’s game with a hamstring injury of his own.

The right back went for a scan last week, which Robinson said ‘revealed a little bit more than we actually thought’.

Jamie Hanson replaced United’s fans’ and players’ player of the year in the starting line-up on Tuesday.
