JOE Oastler has joined one of Oxford City’s Vanarama National League South rivals after ending his four-year stay at Court Place Farm.
The club captain will leave when his contract runs out this summer, switching to Havant & Waterlooville.
Oastler joined City from Gosport Borough in 2017 and made 158 appearances, despite the last two campaigns being cut short by the coronavirus pandemic.

The centre back was part of two record-equalling Emirates FA Cup runs, as they reached the second round in 2017/18 and this season.
City director of football Justin Merritt said: “We have the upmost respect for Joe, and we’d like to thank him for his contribution to the club over the last four years.
“Joe is a top-class professional and we won’t forget his contribution to the team throughout his time here.
“We wish him and his family well for the future.”
Oastler started in the City side that won 1-0 at Sky Bet League Two outfit Colchester United in the first round of the Cup in 2017/18, before they were edged out by Notts County.
He then helped David Oldfield’s men shock League One opposition at the same stage this season, Northampton Town going down 2-1 at Court Place Farm.
Oastler makes the same move as forward James Roberts, who joined Havant last week for an undisclosed fee.
