ROB Atkinson says Shrewsbury Town will be seeking revenge in this afternoon’s clash at Montgomery Waters Meadow.
United beat the Shrews 4-1 just under three weeks ago.
Atkinson scored his first goal for the U’s in that game, as Elliot Lee, Matty Taylor and Sam Long ensured a comfortable evening at the Kassam Stadium on April 13.
However, Atkinson is aware that Shrewsbury will be looking to turn the tables and take points off United.

“You never really play a team this quickly but that’s just this season really,” said Atkinson.
“They’ll probably want a bit of revenge so we’ve got to be on it, it’s going to be as tough a game as any.
“We’ve got to be at it if we want to win.”

On a personal level, it has been a pleasing week for the United centre back, after he was named in the Sky Bet League One Team of the Season.
On the pitch, the U’s watched from afar as play-off rivals Charlton Athletic and Portsmouth were involved in late drama on Tuesday, conceding injury time equalisers.
“We’re still in it and those results are really favourable to us,” said Atkinson.
