KARL Robinson says he is asking for a hearing after he was given a second charge following the fiery Good Friday match with Sunderland.
Robinson and Sunderland assistant boss Jamie McAllister were handed the FA charge on Monday for a breach of Rule E3 over alleged ‘improper and/or violent conduct’.
The charge related to the pair’s alleged behaviour ‘in or around the tunnel’ at full-time and half-time respectively.
The duo had until yesterday to respond, with Robinson confirming he has asked for a personal hearing.

He said: “I’m requesting a hearing – I think it’s unfair, I think some of the comments have been wrong.
“I think a lot of the stuff that’s been put in has been wrong.
“We will ask for a personal hearing, the club has been brilliant and seen the video footage.
“We agree I shouldn’t have been in that tunnel area after the game but I just wanted to ask a question to somebody.”
Players and staff clashed at half-time and full-time, with Robinson claiming goalkeeper Jack Stevens was headbutted in the tunnel during the interval.
The U’s head coach was sent off by referee Trevor Kettle for his reaction to Sunderland’s second goal in the 3-1 defeat, earning him a one-match touchline ban, which he served at Crewe Alexandra earlier this month.
