Appleford Al with his delighted connections
Appleford Al, Angie Kibble's top-rated dog has been named Greyhound of the Year by the racing office.
It's good news for both Angie and owner MIke Nixon who only last week lost their classy bitch Seskin Judy.
Al ran in 30 open races as well as six top grade runs here and won eleven of those events and also finished runner-up eleven times.
A worthy winner and connections will be invited to the Midland Greyhound Ball where their trophy will be presented.
