LINCOLN City will not use the away dressing room at the Kassam Stadium tonight following at least one Covid case in their ranks.

Imps defender Adam Jackson was found to have the virus this week and there is understood to be at least one more positive result among their squad.

It means the visitors have named just five substitutes on their bench.

UPDATES: Oxford United v Lincoln City - live

Lincoln are taking precautionary measures for tonight's Sky Bet League One clash and will change in one of the lounges to minimise contact with Oxford United.

It means they will enter and exit the pitch via one of the tunnels into the South Stand concourse.

U's head coach Karl Robinson said: “There will be no contact with the opposition inside any four walls, which the EFL are happy with.

“We’re happy with their protocol leading up to the game and they're a football club that try to do things right.

“We’re happy with where we stand right now.

“The research shows out on the pitch the chance (of catching the virus) is very minimal.

“It’s the shaking of hands, the touching of doors – we’ve limited that, we’ve reduced that risk."

On Wednesday, the EFL announced that it recorded no positive tests across the 72 clubs for the first time.

United have had fixtures called off due to Covid on five occasions this season.
