EDDIE Pepperell begins his first tournament for more than a month today.
The Abingdon golfer tees off at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters at 8.10am GMT, playing alongside China’s Haotong Li and American John Catlin.
Pepperell’s last event was the Omega Dubai Desert Classic at the end of January.
The Frilford Heath member will be looking to make the cut for the first time in 2021 at a tournament he won three years ago.
Pepperell, 30, told the European Tour website: “To have so much uncertainty has been weighing me down a bit.
“I’m just looking forward to hopefully getting some normality back and then I hope those things will come back to me.
“The more time you spend out of that habit, the harder it can be to get back into it.
“I need to get competitive again and try and make the best of the rest of my career.”
