OXFORD City are up to fourth in the Vanarama National League South after a 4-0 win against Hungerford Town, writes Jack Sale.

Harvey Bradbury scored either side of half-time with strikes from Alfie Potter and James Roberts leaving City five points off the top with three games in hand on leaders Dartford.

Oxford set the tone early on in their return to league action for the first time since January 19, with Roberts firing over the bar after a driving run.

Bradbury opened the scoring just past the half hour mark.

Following good work from Josh Ashby to win the ball back in midfield, he then lofted a ball over the Hungerford defence to Bradbury who lashed beyond the keeper.

City doubled their lead three minutes into the second half, and it was Bradbury again.

Debutant Michael Elechi, on-loan from Oxford United, crossed in from the left and Bradbury was in the right place to poke home.

Potter added a third for the Hoops from Roberts’ right-wing cross as David Oldfield’s side made the game safe.

Roberts sealed a convincing win late on, as he rounded the keeper and rolled into an empty net for his ninth league goal of the season.
