A DOUBLE-BOGEY at the final hole dashed Eddie Pepperell’s hopes of making the weekend at the Omega Dubai Desert Classic.
The Abingdon golfer’s dramatic second round at Emirates GC also included four birdies and three bogeys, to see him card one-over par and miss the cut by three shots.
Pepperell, 30, began with three bogeys and two birdies at the first five holes, before picking up another shot at the seventh.
Another birdie at the 13th increased his chances, before he took seven shots to complete the par-five 18th.
