Australian flanker Chris Alcock plays his final game for Oxford Harlequins in tomorrow's home South West 1 clash with Weston-super-Mare (2pm).

Alcock, who has been working at the Dragon School, Oxford, has made a big impact this season, so will look to go out on a high before returning home.

Quins press officer Roger King said: "He is one of the best flankers we've had for seven or eight years. He's dynamic.

"When he played for the Major Stanley's XV he didn't look out of his depth.

"He just keeps going and doesn't flag.

"But when one door shuts, another opens. We are bound to have replacements."

Quins will be after revenge after losing 25-8 at Weston last month.

Lock Dave Payne's back injury looks to have cleared up, as does flanker Ferdi Gerber's hip problem.

Captain Matt Hutchings misses Chinnor's trip to Maidenhead with a leg injury, but they are otherwise close to full strength.

Andy Millburn is set to deputise for Hutchings.

Having beaten St Ives 77-0 last week, Chinnor are now within touching distance of promotion rivals Bracknell.

Coach Jason Bowers said: "I was really, really pleased with the performance. The whole squad played well.

"The points difference between us and Bracknell is only 20 now.

"At this stage we just want to get through Maidenhead an enjoy a nice Christmas break."
