OXFORD City travel to Welling United tonight in the second round of the Buildbase FA Trophy.
David Oldfield’s side visit their Vanarama National League South rivals, hoping to continue the momentum from Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Dulwich Hamlet that lifted them to ninth in the table – just one point outside the play-offs.
City are yet to play Welling this season, but lost 3-1 in the capital last August.
The home game was scheduled for the final day of the 2019/20 campaign, but was never played due to the first lockdown.
The sides are due to meet at Court Place Farm on Saturday, January 9.
If Oldfield’s men triumph tonight it will be a quick turnaround, with a round three tie at home to Concord Rangers or Truro City set for Saturday.
