Witney trio receive England swimming call-ups
THREE Witney and District members have been called up for national training camps.
Erin Stewart, 14, and 13-year-old Maya Saldana have been selected for Swim England’s 2020 development programme.
Meanwhile, 15-year-old Eleanor Perks is one of 90 swimmers across the country to be picked for the governing body’s national event camp.
The call-ups are recognition of the trio’s performances before lockdown.
Witney and District have returned to training since swimming pools reopened.
The club have been practicing in a Covid-safe environment in the pools at Witney Leisure Centre and RAF Brize Norton.
