THE summer transfer window will formally open later this month, the English Football League have confirmed.

While subject to formal ratification, it is due to start on Monday, July 27 - although any signings will not be able to feature for clubs still playing fixtures in the 2019/20 season.

The transfer deadline for international registrations is 11pm on Monday, October 5.

But there is an agreement in place with the Premier League for an extension on domestic deals until 5pm on Friday, October 16.
