KIDLINGTON’S coaching

set-up will be unchanged next season after their trio committed for another campaign at the helm.

Ben Sadler, who replaced Julian McCalmon in January, is staying on as manager.

Paul Braithwaite has agreed to continue as his assistant, while Callum Wright is the first-team coach.

The group, who expected to start announcing signings shortly, are confident they can build on last term, when Kidlington were 16th in Division 1 Central of the Southern League before the coronavirus lockdown.

Sadler said: “I’m really looking forward to building on what we have started at the club.

“The work behind the scenes from the committee and volunteers has been amazing, and there is a real togetherness at the club.

“News on returning players and new signings will start to filter through over the next couple of weeks.

“Hopefully we will get the green light to return to full training sometime in August.

“By finalising things early, this will allow us time to fully prepare and have more time to work with the group.”
