OXFORD lost to Cambridge in the virtual Boat Race as the two teams raised thousands of pounds for charity.
The star-studded crews collectively rowed 6.8km on machines at home, with both smashing their £5,000 target within hours of Saturday’s event finishing.
The money will go to Power2Inspire, which aims to boost inclusion through sport.
Oxford’s team included three-time Olympic champion Pete Reed, who was paralysed from the chest down after a spinal stroke last year.
Reed was joined by several big names, including Paralympic gold medallist Grace Clough and world champion Oliver Cook.
Cambridge’s team included Olympic champion Tom Ransley.
