BRADLEY Smith could be racing in MotoGP next month after the series announced its revised 2020 calendar.

The 13-race, all-European season is set to start with the Spanish Grand Prix in Jerez on July 19.

Smith, from Forest Hill, is test rider for Aprilia, but is deputising while Andrea Iannone contests a ban for a doping offence.

He returned to testing in Misano, Italy, on Wednesday and Thursday.

Elsewhere, Alice Powell put in a promising display at the opening round of the W Series Esports League.

The Chipping Norton driver was 14th and tenth in the first two of three races at Italy’s iconic Monza circuit.

She ended with a fifth-placed finish, holding off Gosia Rdest after an entertaining wheel-to-wheel battle, and sits tenth in the overall standings.
