OXFORD United's play-off semi-final will be staged either side of the opening weekend in July.
As Karl Robinson's men finished above Portsmouth in the calculated Sky Bet League One table, the first leg will be at Fratton Park.
The Friday night fixture on the south coast will be a 5.30pm kick-off, with the return at the Kassam Stadium three days later starting at 5pm.
Whoever comes out on top will have a week to prepare for the final at an empty Wembley, against the winner of Wycombe Wanderers' clash with Fleetwood Town.
The games will be behind closed doors but live on Sky and available on iFollow overseas.
