OXFORDSHIRE'S golf courses and tennis courts are able to reopen from Wednesday.
In response to Prime Minster Boris Johnson's announcement on the slight relaxation of the lockdown last night, England Golf released a statement.
It read: "The UK Government has announced that golf will be able to resume in England on Wednesday, 13 May 2020.
"All outdoor sport must be done alone or within a household group and that includes golf."
There had been some confusion over whether it meant most golfers have to play on their own, when elsewhere in the government's advice it allows people to meet a person from another household in a park providing they maintain social distancing.

Clubs have argued golf can be played with a two-metre gap at all times and England Golf say they are lobbying the government today to publish guidance ahead of Wednesday.
But in the Our Plan to Rebuild document, it says: "You can only exercise with up to one person from outside your household – this means you should not play team sports, except with members of your own household."
It opens the way for two-balls to play golf between people from different households.
It also applies to other sports.
In a statement, Tennis Oxfordshire said: "Following further clarifications we have received from Government, tennis activity in England will be able to take place outdoors from Wednesday with singles play only, other than where players are all from the same household in which case they can play doubles.
"We're finalising full guidance for players, coaches and venues and aim to share this as soon as possible."
