MEETINGS looking at ways to salvage the football season will continue before the weekend.
As things stand, the domestic campaign in England is on hold until the end of April due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The EFL, Premier League, players' union (PFA) and the League Manager's Association spoke yesterday, releasing a joint statement saying they had held a "constructive" meeting.

Also on the agenda was a possible collective agreement on wage deferral.
Talks will continue today and tomorrow.
The statement, released last night, said: "No decisions were taken today, with discussions set to continue in the next 48 hours with a focus on several high-profile matters, including player wages and the resumption of the 2019/20 season."
