JACK Stevens has signed a new contract at Oxford United.

Stevens came through the youth ranks at the club, but did not make his senior U's debut until last April.

John Mousinho: Oxford United players among the lucky ones in coronavirus crisis

He came on to face Charlton Athletic after Simon Eastwood was dismissed and closed out a 2-1 win at the Kassam Stadium.

A first start followed three days later in the 3-2 success at Shrewsbury Town.

The 22-year-old has made three appearances this season, all in the Leasing.com Trophy.

Robinson said: “We have every faith in Jack and rate him really highly.

"He is a little bit unlucky in having Easty ahead of him but we know what Jack can do and we can all see that he is determined to take his chance next time it comes around, which is fantastic for us.”
