OXFORD United stayed third in Sky Bet League One after tonight's results involving three promotion rivals went their way.
Karl Robinson's men could have slipped two places, but stayed put as Sunderland lost 2-0 at Bristol Rovers.
The Black Cats slipped out of the top six as a result, leapfrogged by Portsmouth and Fleetwood Town, who shared a 2-2 draw at Fratton Park.
