OXFORDSHIRE were well beaten as Humberside ran out 22-14 winners in the BDO Inter-Counties Championship.
Emma Everett got the Ladies’ B team off to a good start in the Division 1 encounter, but Nicola Curzon was their only other success in a 4-2 loss.
Humberside then won the first seven games of the Men’s B contest.
Stephen Wright, Rhys Kerry, Andrew Tompkins and Rob Adnams did get the hosts on the board, but Oxfordshire still trailed 12-6 overnight.
The deficit was reduced by the Ladies’ A side, who came out 4-2 winners.
Denise Pape, Karen Williams, Kim Ledbury and Deta Hedman did the damage.
But Humberside took the first four matches of the Men’s A clash to make sure of the victory.
Ade Larner, Simon Tricker, Tom Baughan and Darren Hammond scored points for the hosts in an 8-4 defeat.
Oxfordshire’s next game is at Hertfordshire later this month.
