DAVE Cross slammed a hat-trick as Spartan Rangers thrashed Milton 7-2 in the Witney & District FA Premier Division.

Further goals from David Pryse, Frank Clarke, Mitch Constable and Henry Clarke secured a comfortable win for Spartans, while Alex Ayres replied with a brace for the visitors.

Carterton emphatically saw off local rivals Carterton Rangers 4-1 to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

Craig Mays, Mark Threlfall, Alex Stubbs and Alan Woodcock were on the mark for Carterton, while Jamie MacDonogh replied for Rangers.

In Division 1, Bampton United were too strong for hosts Kingham All Blacks as they ran out 5-0 victors.

Daniel Paintin led the way with a double, while Jake Pritchard, Conor O’Shea and Chris Laurence completed the rout.

A brace from Ben Liddle and Josh Grant’s goal gave Witney Royals a 3-1 win at Bourton Rovers, who replied through Matt Winter.

Division 2 leaders Hook Norton marched on with a 7-1 triumph at home to Brize Norton.

Ryan Hall hit a treble, with Jay Mair (2), Max Harris and Tyler Bradley also on target.

Rob Hook replied for the visitors.

After last week’s shock defeat to FC Mills, leaders Bletchingdon ran riot against visitors Witney Royals Res with a 7-0 win in Division 3.

Joe Brewer and Jimmy Deabill both bagged braces, with Tom Knox, Michael Trafford and Richard Wells also on the mark.

Elsewhere, Carterton Town A booked their place in the Fred Ford Cup semi-finals with a 3-1 extra-time win at Hailey.

Michael Flavell, James Sinclair and Dave Wanless netted Carterton’s goals, with Travis O’Connor replying.
