ADAM Burden put in a flawless display at the DKWay Hertfordshire Under 17 event as he took singles gold without dropping a game.

The teenager added silver medals in the boys’ doubles alongside Sussex’s Andrew Harrison and in the mixed doubles with Oxfordshire teammate Rebecca Norkett.

Norkett and Banbury’s Jess Street were runners-up in the girls’ doubles.

The pair achieved more success one day later at the Oxfordshire Under 17 competition, Street winning mixed doubles gold with Hertfordshire’s Jack Moylan and Norkett taking girls’ singles silver.

Despite playing up an age group, Bicester’s Anthony Peverell won mixed doubles bronze with Berkshire’s Ruby Clark.

At the Warwick Under 15 tournament, Jason Ou won singles bronze and boys’ doubles silver with Jia Bin Lee, of Surrey, while Benjamin Horseman took bronze alongside Hampshire’s Dilon Chong.

Jamie Wakefield won his second singles gold of 2020 at the Nottinghamshire Under 13 event, then reached the boys’ doubles final with Yorkshire’s Siddharth Mehra.
