RICARDO Benjamin fired Chesterton to a 5-2 triumph over Yarnton that saw them reach the semi-finals of the Oxfordshire Senior League’s Presidents Cup.

Benjamin hit a hat-trick for the hosts, with Jimmy Casbierd and Danny Green also on target.

Aaron Dineen also bagged three goals as Cropredy booked their place in the last four with a 3-0 victory over Launton Sports.

Kennington Athletic came from behind to beat Horspath 4-1 in their quarter-final, Sam Gordon opening the scoring for the visitors,

But Josh Nicholls scored either side of the break, with James Smith and Tom Butler also on target for the home side.

Marston Saints complete the semi-final line-up thanks to their convincing 7-2 success at the expense of hosts Charlgrove Cavaliers.

In the Clarendon Cup quarter final Heyford Athletic Res thrashed Yarnton Res 8-0.

Meanwhile, Jack Morton’s strike was enough for Hanborough to beat Garsington 1-0 and progress to the semi-final of the Ben Turner Trophy.

Nathan Kelly (2) and Ally Broome gave Kirtlington a 3-1 win against Kidlington A, Conner Rogan scoring in defeat.

Anthony Davidson scored both goals as Charlton United also reached the last four with a 2-1 win at Middleton Cheney.

Jay DeValle bagged a consolation strike for the home side.

In the Ivor Gubbins Cup quarter finals, Launton Sports Res were 4-1 winners against Mansfield Road Res.

Curt Smith bagged an unusual brace, finding the net at both ends of the pitch.

Matt Woodward, Dan Scourfield and Mark Hobbs completed the scoring for Launton.

Jamie Wilkins’s double was enough to give Marston Saints Res a 2-0 triumph over Chinnor Res as they reached the last four.

In Division Two of the Senior League, Horspath Res were held to a 1-1 draw by Charlton United Res.

Jack Munt scored for Horspath, before Craig Marsh put through his own net in a highly-fought contest.
