SNOOKER: Premier Division leaders Oracle A cruised to a 5-1 success over Thame B in the Oxford & District League.
Highfield B are just one point behind, thanks to a 4-2 victory at Division 1’s bottom side Witney.
Oracle B claimed an impressive 4-2 triumph at Division 1 rivals Woodstock, John Donkin seeing the visitors over the line despite a late loss to Priyan Shah.
Division 2 leaders New Club enjoyed a 4-2 win at lowly Oracle F, but Oxford Bowls remain hot on their heels after beating Eynsham A by the same scoreline.
In Division 3, Florian Albrecht’s double appeared to have put J’s Sports Bar D on the road to victory at Eynsham B.
But Kevin Truby emulated Albrecht to secure a 3-3 draw for the hosts, twice overcoming Fubiao Gu.
Leaders Oracle D were held 3-3 by title challengers Green Road.
