BLACKPOOL visit Oxford United in terrible form, having not tasted victory in any competition since December 7.

But the tight nature of Sky Bet League One means Simon Grayson's side remain just seven points behind the U's.

These are the Blackpool players who could be crucial if they are to arrest their poor run of results.

ARMAND GNANDUILLET

The striker endured a thoroughly forgettable spell at the Kassam Stadium in 2015, making four substitute appearances without scoring.

He has been far more productive at Bloomfield Road and has already found the net 15 times this season, including in the 2-1 win over United in August.

Gnanduillet has bagged more than a third of Blackpool's league goals in 2019/20, so the U's will be desperate to keep him quiet.

LIAM FEENEY

Only Burton Albion's Scott Fraser has racked up more League One assists than Feeney this campaign, the Blackpool man one behind on ten.

Grayson surprisingly left Feeney - and Gnanduillet - out of his starting line-up for Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers, raising eyebrows among Tangerines fans.

If he starts tomorrow, the 'assist king' will surely be out to impress and holds the key to unlocking United's defence.

BEN HENEGHAN

The Sheffield United loanee had his stay at Bloomfield Road extended until the end of the season earlier this month after impressing at centre back.

It will complete a second full campaign at the club for the 26-year-old, indicating his worth to Grayson.

Despite their disappointing recent record, Blackpool still have the tenth best defensive record in the division and Heneghan and defensive partner Curtis Tilt are a useful pairing at this level.
