IT WAS a disappointing afternoon for the Oxfordshire sides in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

Despite an Owen James penalty and a goal from Callum Rice, Ardley United suffered a 5-2 defeat at Lydney Town.

Easington Sports lost 3-0 away at Tuffley Rovers, while high-flying Shrivenham lost 2-0, conceding ten minutes before and after half-time.

In Division 1 East, the results followed the same trend.

Didcot Town Dev were beaten 5-0 at home by Risborough Rangers.

Kidlington Dev lost 8-3 at Holyport, despite the best efforts of Callum Green who bagged a hat-trick.

Thame Rangers were also defeated on the road, losing 4-0 to Marlow United.

Milton United did pick up three points, beating Abingdon Town 6-1.

Ollie Nadin (2), Ryan Barney, Matthew Lloyd, Louis Joyce and Sam McDermaid did the damage.

Tyler Peck pulled one back for Town.

Clanfield 85 tasted defeat in Division 1 West, losing 2-1 to Hereford Lads Club.

An own goal brought Clanfield back into the game but they could not force a late equaliser.

Letcombe went down 4-0 at Shrivenham Dev in Division 2 West.
