SKY Smith was in excellent form as she triumphed over Libby Frost at Berinsfield ABC’s 19-bout show.

The home fighter won a split decision against the Beartown ABC boxer after dominating from the start.

Smith troubled her opponent from the first round with a series of long punches and short hooks to the body.

The second was a similar story as Frost got a standing eight count, but battled through to the final bell.

The card included 13 normal and four skill bouts, plus two featuring fighters from other clubs.

Elsewhere, Emma Baghurst produced an impressive performance to beat Northampton’s Jasmine Morris.

A deadly accurate one-two was the highlight from Baghurst as she triumphed on a unanimous decision.

Meanwhile, Berinsfield captain Jordan Blake took on Oxford ABC’s Amir Sheif in an all-action bout.

Blake was on top in the early stages but his opponent stuck to the task.

Sheif got stronger as the fight wore on, but the Berinsfield boxer was awarded a unanimous victory.

Harley Hancock, Morris James, Dorie Flanagan and Charlotte Challenger also won on unanimous decisions, while Jack Lee triumphed after the referee stopped his contest.

Meanwhile, Oxford boxer Jordan Flynn returns to the ring in March at the famous York Hall.

The 23-year-old began his professional career in December, beating Daniel Alder on points.

Super-lightweight Flynn, from Cowley, is preparing at Anthony Joshua’s BXR London gym for his next bout on Friday, March 20.

His opponent at the Bethnal Green venue – the home of British boxing – is yet to be confirmed, but the

three-time amateur champion is once again on an exciting card.

Flynn is on the undercard for the semi-finals of the Golden Contract – a tournament created by his management company MTK Global – which is shown live on Sky Sports.
