OXFORD United youngster Max Harris has joined Oxford City on a month's loan.

The U's Under 23 goalkeeper goes straight into the squad for the game against Vanarama National League South leaders Wealdstone tomorrow.

It comes after City keeper Craig King sustained an injury during the 2-1 win over Hungerford Town on New Year's Day.

The 20-year-old joins fellow United loanees Kyran Lofthouse and Kevin Berkoe at Court Place Farm.

The U's Under 23 coach Chris Allen told the club's official website: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for Max.

"He has done really well for us and now he gets the chance to show what he can do in competitive matches.

"Because Kyran and Kevin are already there we know he will be well looked after by everyone at City, where we can keep a really close eye on his progress.”
