OXFORD United's FA Youth Cup game against Maidenhead United has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Thame United's ASM Stadium was hit by heavy overnight rain and following a pitch inspection it was deemed the game should be called off.

No new date has yet been set for the fixture.

The U's have beaten Reading City and Colchester United to reach this stage.

The winner of this match will host either Preston North End or Bristol City, who meet next Monday, in the next round.

Elsewhere, there are two matches involving Oxfordshire clubs in the BetVictor Southern League Division 1 Central tonight.

Fresh from their win at leaders Corby Town on Saturday, Thame United will be looking to pull off another upset when they visit third-placed Halesowen Town.

Victory for Mark West’s men would take them to the brink of the top five.

North Leigh also take on another side in the play-off positions, as they welcome Welwyn Garden City to Eynsham Park.

A win would put the Millers into the top ten.
