RUTHERFORD storm on relentlessly at the top of Division 1 of the Oxford & District League, beating Forum D 6-4.

Lewis Waddup was again the star performer to make it seven victories out of seven for RAL and 21 wins out of 21 for himself this campaign.

British Rail have put their poor start behind them and are now second after two 9-1 wins over Bicester A and Forum C.

Bicester A bagged their first victory of the season, beating basement side Brookes 7-3.

In Division 2, James Speedy and Simon Cox ensured Vikings A demolished Begbroke 8-2 to extend their lead at the top.

Forum F continue with their excellent season with an 8-2 trouncing of clubmates Forum E, while Bicester B saw off Holton A by the same score.

Basement side Witney A avoided nine straight defeats by holding Gladiators to a draw.

Forum I stay top of Division 3 after beating Holton C 6-4.

Brian Dobson’s maximum gave Holton D every chance, but they still had to settle for a draw with Bicester C.

Community A beat Holton B, and Vikings B beat Bicester D, both with a scoreline of 8-2.
