Oxford United conceded two late goals as they went down 2-1 at Watford in the second round of the Women’s National League Plate.
The U’s started strongly and went a goal ahead right on the stroke of half-time when Cat Beaver hooked in after Gemma Sims headed across goal.
United then wasted several chances after the break.
And they were made to pay when Emily Hill equalised in the 85th minute.
Two minutes later Helen Ward curled an effort in off the post to beat Aimee Watson and win the game for the home side.
