BERINSFIELD celebrated their North Berks League team of the month award with a demolition job on Lambourn Sports.

The hosts won the Division 1 clash 12-0 after being crowned the league’s chosen team for October.

Berinsfield led 4-0 by

half-time, as Howard Hawkins netted twice, along with a strike from Michael Hinkin and a penalty from skipper Chris Murphy.

There was no respite for Lambourn after the break as Max Palmer smashed a five-timer and Hawkins completed a hat-trick.

Further goals from Charlie Lee and Hinkin completed the rout.

Hagbourne United kept up their 100 per cent record with a 3-1 win over Saxton Rovers.

Kieran Cooper bagged a brace, with Jack Kitchener also on target and Niall Hodgkins replying.

Drayton edged out hosts Steventon 4-3.

Josh Dennis (2), Ashley Fell and Nathan Merry hit the target, with Steventon replying through Alex Dawson (2) and Dale Cameron.

Long Wittenham saw off visitors Cholsey United 2-1 as Lewis Monaghan and Callum Bowler netted.

A penalty from Riley Marshall reduced the arrears.

In Division 2, Dorchester returned to the top with a 2-1 win over Kingston Colts.

Ashley Stevens bagged both for Dorchester, with Brandon Hewerdine replying.
