OXFORD United are waiting to see the severity of the injury which forced Josh Ruffels off yesterday.
The left back limped out of the 1-1 draw at Portsmouth before half-time following a 50/50 tackle with Ross McCrorie.
The Pompey full back was booked for the challenge, but Ruffels - who had played all but a minute of United's Sky Bet League One campaign - could not continue.

Head coach Karl Robinson, who already has seven players in the treatment room, said: "It’s a terrible tackle. He’s caught him in the middle of the thigh, that’s how late it was.
"He knew Ruffs was going to get there first.
"It’s a dead leg, but they can be two or three weeks sometimes.
"It’s severe, it’s come out horrendously already. We’ll have to wait and see."
