EDDIE Pepperell plays his final event of the regular European Tour season in Vilamoura this week.
The Abingdon golfer is in the field at the Portugal Masters, which starts today.
He tees off at 1.20pm with Martin Kaymer and Ryan Fox, and then the trio get under way at 8.50am tomorrow.
Pepperell’s only other commitments in the 2019 campaign are in the final Rolex Series events.
The Frilford Heath player’s battle to stay in the all-important top 50 on the European Tour and the world rankings looks set to go right to the wire.
While he is 46th in the global standings, the 28-year-old is 50th in the tour positions.
