North Berks League

HAGBOURNE United maintained their 100 per cent record in Division 1 with a 5-3 win against North Oxford.

Ebrima Saidy fired North Oxford in front from the penalty spot, before Jake Lee levelled.

North Oxford’s Muhamed Eldami then saw red for a late challenge, but his side went back in front through Jack Hinkin.

Jack Kitchener levelled in the second half and then Charlie Noble gave Hagbourne the lead for the first time.

Kitchener converted a spot-kick to make it 4-2, but North Oxford reduced the arrears through Ben Scrivener.

Noble wrapped up the points for Hagbourne with their fifth in stoppage time.

Watlington Town stayed top of Division 1 with a 2-1 victory over Long Wittenham.

Martin Williams and Brandon Burton were on target for the hosts, with Steve Malloy replying.

Goals from Luke Holdsworth (2) and Shane Harris gave Berinsfield a 3-2 win over Drayton, for whom strikes from Josh Dennis and Charlie Marsh proved in vain.

East Hendred won 7-1 with Mike Hooton claiming a five-timer.

Jordan Parrott and Tom Geach were also on target, with Josh Boult replying.

Dorchester Town went top of Division 2 with a 2-1 win over Faringdon Town Res.

Jordan Lyne and George Kay scored their goals with Rich Evans on target for the visitors.

CROPREDY continued their fine early season form by thrashing Horspath 7-0 in the Premier Division.

Sam Grant and Dan Reeves both scored twice for the table-toppers, with Aaron Field, Dan Watkin and Jack Welch also finding the net.

Second-placed Freeland secured a narrow 1-0 win at Charlton United, Conor Almond scoring the only goal.

Bicester United fought back from three goals down to draw a ten-goal thriller with Chesterton, who were 5-2 up at half-time through four Ricardo Benjamin strikes and one from James Casbierd.

Wayne Blossom hit three for the hosts, while Rowan Chappell bagged a brace.

Dan King (2) and Liam Quinn found the net as Hanborough beat Mansfield Road 3-0 at home.

Adam Croad, Josh Nicholls and James Smith put Kennington Athletic on the way to a 3-2 win at Launton Sports, who replied through Benjamin Cooke and Sam Skehan.

Garsington won 2-1 at Summertown Stars, with Elliston Coble and Josh Fox notching for the visitors and Sota Kubomura replying for the hosts.

Matty Holton and Jae Sharkey scored as Marston Saints won 2-1 at Yarnton, who had gone ahead through Harry Ackland.

Freeland Res lead Division 1 with a 9-0 win over M.IN.I, with goals from Jason Lonsdale (2), Luke Coles (2), Tom Gerken, Nathan Blackwell, Billy Hales, Conor Robbins and Jay Revill.

Adderbury Park Res beat Eynsham Association 2-1 at home, while Kirtlington saw off Chalgrove Cavaliers 3-2.

Middleton Cheney defeated Woodstock Town Dev 6-0 and Kidlington FC thrashed Kennington Athletic Res 6-1.

Chesterton Res continue to lead the way in Division 2 after a 5-2 win over Garsington Res.

Conor James (2), Glenn Holmes, Stephen Jalowick and Jonathan Crosthwaite were on target with Daniel Bigden and Hayden Massingham replying.

Yarnton Res are two points adrift after a 3-1 win at Horspath Res thanks to Sean Dyer, Ethan Penny and Chad Blackman.

Sylvester Droan hit a

hat-trick as Mansfield Road Res saw off Launton Sports Res 5-0. Eman Ndori and Tim Grimble also scored.

Witney & District FA

Minster Lovell Res won a ten-goal thriller at home to Bourton Rovers to go top of Division 1.

Ian Wright led the way with a hat-trick, while Harry Puffitt scored twice and Josh White found the net.

Bourton replied through Adam Webley’s treble and Lee Mosson, but it was not enough to prevent a 6-4 defeat.

In Division 2, Brize Norton edged out Carterton Town B 5-4 in another high-scoring clash.

Steve Marshall (2), Ryan Weston, Peter Moore and Joe Henry scored for Brize, with Richie Graham (2), Matthew Queenan and Tom MacKenzie-Fenwick on target for Carterton.

CHRIS Laurence’s treble fired Bampton United to a 4-1 victory at fellow Witney FA side Kingham All Blacks in the first round.

Daniel Paintin also found the net, while Dan Davies replied for the hosts.

Carterton won 5-0 at Finmere, Carl Austin, Matt Knibbs, Alex Stubbs, Brad Bryant and Alan Rogers scored their goals.

Meanwhile, Carlos Pavia hit a hat-trick as FC Mills reached the second round with a 4-3 win at Benson Lions, Dan Smith scoring their other goal.

Sam Stich bagged a treble for Charlbury Town as they brushed aside Eynsham SSC 4-0, Mark Goode also on target.

Tower Hill eased to a 6-2 win at home to local rivals Minster Lovell.

Jesse Lawrence and James Scott scored twice, with Jacob Hambridge and an own goal completing their tally, Minster replying through Mark Norridge and Josh Lock.
