KARL Robinson expects Oxford United to deliver a backlash tonight from their Blackpool defeat.
They came away empty-handed with a 2-1 loss despite dominating the game at Bloomfield Road.
There is an opportunity to make amends immediately, with another three points on the line when Burton Albion visit the Kassam Stadium this evening.
New signing Matty Taylor is available for the home side, who have been stewing on Saturday’s result.
Robinson said: “We’ve lost a game we shouldn’t have and we’re a bit wounded by that.
“It’s something we’ve got to put right tonight, I think in every area we were sensational.
“It was one of the best performances I’ve seen from us.
“We were relentless and maybe Matty’s two days too late because I think he certainly would have scored at the weekend.”

United will make a late decision on Tariqe Fosu, who went for a scan on a tight hamstring yesterday.
The game comes too soon for Shandon Baptiste, but the midfielder is due to play an hour for the under 23s in a friendly at Bournemouth this afternoon with a view to being available on Saturday.
Striker Dan Agyei is thought to be a week away from being available for his debut.
Burton were edged out 1-0 at home by Rotherham United on Saturday, but have won both away games so far – at Gillingham in the league and a Carabao Cup tie at Port Vale.
Their one injury doubt is over right back John Brayford.
