AHEAD of each of United's Sky Bet League One games this season, we are looking back at memorable matches against their next opponents.

March 27, 2011: Oxford Utd 3, Burton Albion 0

OXFORD United's attacking trio ran the show as a 3-0 win over Burton Albion moved the U's to within three points of the League Two play-off places.

Two goals from Steve MacLean and a penalty from Tom Craddock brought Chris Wilder's men a valuable victory against the relegation-threatened Brewers.

The other member of United's front three, James Constable, also hurt Burton, who had two players sent off in the second half for fouling the forward.

MacLean, on-loan from Plymouth, benefitted from a bit of luck when he put the U's ahead after just five minutes.

Constable dummied Harry Worley's low cross and the ball fell to the loanee, who turned and saw his deflected strike trickle past visiting keeper Adam Legzdins.

An intriguing battle between U's skipper Constable and Burton centre back, Darren Moore, typified an even first half.

United keeper Ryan Clarke prevented an equaliser just before the break, when he made a double stop from Tom Parkes and Calvin Zola.

The visitors started the second half strongly too, but the momentum swung once and for all when Constable was wrestled to the ground by Moore inside the penalty area on 56 minutes.

The centre back was given his marching orders and Tom Craddock sent the keeper the wrong way from the spot - after MacLean had initially picked up the ball.

Parkes was the second visiting player to be sent off for a foul on Constable after 77 minutes, before a MacLean tap-in sealed the win in the final minute.
