Henley Hawks director of rugby Jon Lambden says his side are in good order as they approach a crunch period of their season.
Hawks travel to Otley, who are fourth in National 2, on Saturday then host leaders Manchester next week.
But having picked up a maximum five points against Halifax, two more wins would put Henley firmly back in the promotion picture.
Lambden said: "There is still a lot of work to do, but I feel we can now tackle it in a positive mood.
"We lack a little bit of maturity and that's understandable when seven of your leading players are out.
"It was good to have Rob Hurrell and Felise Ah-Ling back against Halifax and Steve Robinson gave the scrum a bit more stability."
He added: "It has been a frustrating period. I don't know if we are out of it. At least we have shown we can get out of it.
"We've lost more ground than we wanted to, but if we play like we did in the second half against Halifax it is recoverable.
"If you build phases, you build intensity. Sustaining it was the problem in the first half."
- Grove will host Chipping Norton in round 3 south west of the EDF Energy Senior Vase after being awarded their second round tie.
The RFU ruled Grove had won their clash at Widden Old Boys 23-21 rather than drawing 21-21 as the result had originally been reported.
