TOM Gubbins claimed six wickets as Stonesfield saw off hosts Marsh Gibbon by three wickets in Division 1 of the OCA League.

The home side were bowled out for 148 despite Hugo Campbell-Harris hitting 53, Gubbins proving the thorn in their side with 6-16.

Jamie Burns then struck 42 in Stonesfield’s reply as they reached 149-7.

Witney Swifts continued their march towards retaining the title with a 57-run win at home to Garsington & Cowley.

Kieran Foggett (46) and Chris Asque (44) helped Swifts to 176-5, before Graeme Woodward took 4-20 as Garsington were bowled out for 119.

Oxenford defeated visitors Faringdon by 108 runs on the target score method.

Divyansh Gulati (70) and Vijay Pamu (56no) helped Oxenford to 216-3.

After a rain break, Faringdon’s target was revised to 198, but they were shot out for just 89 as Muhammad Usman took 3-17.

Darren De Bruyn claimed 5-20 for Chipping Norton as they beat hosts Wolvercote by five wickets.

Wolvercote managed only 110-8 and then Arthur Ward hit 43 to steer Chippy to victory at 111-5.

Shaz Ayub scored 85 and Des Smith 50 as Middleton Cheney saw off Westcott by 51 runs.

Cheney set 206-6 before dismissing their visitors for 155 as Sam Hanson and Barry White both took 3-32.

East & West Hendred cruised to an eight-wicket win at Cairns Fudge to close in on the Division 2 crown.

Carl Palmer (4-17) and William Bennett (4-20) combined as Fudge were shot out for just 62, and then Dave Prosper struck 47 not out to steer Hendred to 65-2.

In a match reduced to 35 overs per side, Stanton Harcourt beat Watlington by eight wickets.

Arun White took 3-49 to help restrict Watlington to 131-8.

Joel Graham (63) and Ryan Frost (49no) then steered Stanton Harcourt to 134-2.

Kilkenny beat Bampton by 89 runs.

They were bowled out for 164 as Julian Easterbrook and Tom Eagle took three wickets apiece.

Tom Valentine (4-18) and Darren Gordon (3-19) then shone with the ball for Kilkenny as they dismissed their visitors for 75.

Clifton Hampden saw off Tetsworth by eight wickets.

Darren Clark took 4-45 in Tetsworth’s 159 all out, before James Stubbs (42), Joe Richardson (41no) and Richard Beard (39) steered Clifton to 160-2.

Kamran Ramzan took 5-8 as Kidlington routed Radley for a paltry 13 to record a 70-run victory in Division 3.

Kidlington had been shot out for 83 as Ali Malik took 4-22. But Ramzan and Michael Tippett (4-4) skittled the home side.

Combe moved up to second with a 127-run win at Broughton & North Newington.

Robbie Nicholson top-scored with 81 not out in Combe’s 206-3 and then Julian Chaundy took 4-20 as Broughton were bowled out for 79.

Dorchester beat Risinghurst by three wickets on the target score method.

Risinghurst set 152 all out, Saurabh Mehrotra top-scoring with 60 and Thom Airs taking 4-43.

After a rain break, the target was revised to 134, and Dorchester reached 134-7 as Dan Houseman hit 46.

Wantage eased past Brill by 52 runs.

David Spencer’s 52 helped Wantage to 235-7, Ben Jackson taking 4-55. Brill were all out for 183 as Oliver Haine took 3-48.

Division 4 title chasers Steventon beat Witney Swifts 2nd by 83 runs.

Glen Willett top-scored with 52 in Steventon’s 186 all out, Andy Purdie taking 5-40 for the visitors.

In reply, only Jason Seacole (52) got going as Swifts were bowled out for 103, Philip Armstrong taking 4-19.

Oxenford 2nd brushed aside West Ilsley by 98 runs to stay second.

Harry Sturgess (42) and James Kempton (40) helped Oxenford to an imposing 279-8, before James Kempton took 3-31 as West Ilsley were restricted to 181-8, Adam Barnes finishing 99 not out.

Garsington & Cowley 2nd saw off Shrivenham by three wickets.

Manoj Perera hit 75 in Shrivenham’s 234-6, but 51 from Deipak Malhotra helped Garsington to 235-7.

Elsewhere, Chadlington beat Wolvercote 2nd by 92 runs as Craig Atlas took 5-12, while Deddington saw off visitors Uffington by three wickets.

Tetsworth 2nd made it 11 wins from 11 in Division 5 as they beat Letcombe by 45 runs.

James Crook hit 53 in Tetsworth’s 177-8 and then Sunil Gil claimed 4-31 as Letcombe were restricted to 132-7 in their reply.

Four wickets apiece for Pete Beckley and Miles Martin helped East & West Hendred 2nd to a five-wicket win over Freeland.

Freeland were skittled out for 60 and then Hendred reached 61-5 to secure victory.

Dom Whinfrey hit 95 and Ben Roberts took 6-29 as Sunningwell beat Risinghurst 2nd by 60 runs, while Wolvercote 3rd saw off Chalgrove by six wickets.

In Division 6, Kidlington 2nd defeated Dorchester 2nd by six wickets.

Dorchester set 161-9 as Will Anastasiadis top-scored with 94 not out.

The evergreen John Moss then hit 64 not out to steer Kidlington to 164-4.

Oxenford 3rd saw off visitors Swinbrook by one run in a thriller.

They were held to 134-9, despite 84 not out from Maliha Ratnaweera.

Anthony Moss then took 5-20 as Swinbrook were bowled out for 133.

In Division 7 North, Chipping Norton 2nd thrashed Deddington 2nd by eight wickets, while Kilkenny 2nd saw off Marcham 2nd by 98 runs in Division 7 South.
