DAVID Murphy landed a national title at the British Summer Championships.

The City of Oxford SC member, competing in the 19 & over age group, won gold in the 50m breaststroke in Glasgow.

Murphy, 21, also took silver in the 100m event as well as bronze in the 200m.

Teammate Illizane Pinfold matched Murphy’s exploits in the 15 year group.

She won gold with a junior and open county record time in the 50m event,

before finishing second in the 100m and third in the 200m.

Billy Wotton landed double gold in the 16 year category, triumphing in the 100m and 200m breaststroke.

Nicola Ryan, 21, took silver in the 1,500m and bronze in the 400m freestyle.

Safiya Sillah, 16, landed bronze in the 50m freestyle.
