Hailey's new signing Mike Duerden scored a hat-trick to help his side to a 5-3 victory against Spartan Rangers in the Witney & District FA Premier Division.

James Flemming and Dan King also netted, while Gavin Komenik, Ian Steele and Dave Large replied for Spartan.

Seven differerent players were on the scoresheet for defending Premier Division champions Freeland as they thrashed Cassington 7-0.

Richard Trigg, Simon Hole, Simon Stapleton, Dale Kardos, Stuart Hole, David Tarr and Neil Howe were all on target as Cassington who had won their previous three games, crumbled.

Neil Rose was also in the goals, notching a treble for Hanborough as they beat nine-man Ducklington 5-0.

Trailing 3-0 to Rose's hat-trick, Ducklington suffered a further blow when Stu Cutts and Gary Brooks were sent off.

Goals from Craig Johnson and Keith Frendo further compounded Ducklington's misery.

Bampton got off the mark with a 4-1 victory against West Witney.

But they did it the hard way, starting with only eight players.

Nathan Beckett hit a brace with Russ Steele and Steve Godfrey also on target.

Witney clawed a goal back, before Bampton had John Goodman red-carded.

Charlbury Town climbed out of the relegation zone with a 3-0 win against North Leigh A, with goals from Matt Holloway, Craig McCallum and Steve Fitzgerald.

In Division 1, leaders Witney Royals crushed Milton 5-0, thanks to strikes from Steve Brasier, Matt Thompson, Tom West, Steve Green and Richard Benham.

Chippy Swift Res fought back to draw 5-5 against Hailey Res in Division 2.

Hailey appeared to have it in the bag at 5-4, only for Adam Morrison to equalise.

Rob Webb, Andy Woods, Perry Tinson, Martin Bull, Andy Waston and Shaun Weller scored their goals.

Rocky Bourton, with a hat-trick, was among Chippy's other scorers.

Meanwhile, Brize Norton reached the second round of the Fred Ford Cup with a 6-0 defeat of Two Rivers, with a brace from John Smalles.

Jon Curtins, Ian Smith, Gerrard Morgan and an own goal completed the rout.
