Oxford United will be without Frenchman Alex Jeannin for their FA Cup fourth qualifying round tie at Merthy Tydfil this Saturday.
The former Exeter City, Hereford and Darlington defender, who was United's regular left wingback this campaign, but has moved forward to left midfield following the switch to four at the back, collected his fifth yellow card in last weekend's 0-0 draw with Woking and is suspended.
Jim Smith has the options of playing left-footers Phil Trainer or Danny Rose in his position at Merthyr.
United will also be without Australian goalkeeper Alex Cisak, whose month on loan from Leicester City has now come to an end. He has returned to the Walkers Stadium without playing a first-team game at Oxford.
Youngster Sam Worrell will deputise for No 1 Billy Turley at Penydarren Park.
