Oxford City 0

Windsor & Eton 1 (Chennels 27)

OXFORD City made a disappointing exit, despite having much the better of the early exchanges during their FA Trophy clash to Windsor and Eton.

Jermaine McSporran went close after a touch-on from James Faulkner, who then tested Windsor keeper Sam Mazurek with a well-struck effort.

Mazurek produced a point-blank save to deny Jon Gardner, while another let-off for the visitors came when McSporran volleyed on to the bar.

Against the run of play, Windsor took the lead. Michael Chennels gained posession on the edge of the area and drove the ball past City keeper Steve Smith.

In the second half, the visitors held the upper hand as City's passing went astray. Smith did well to block a close-range effort from Chennels.

City had one chance, but Mazurek stuck out a boot to deny Faulkner to leave City regretting their first-half misses.
