MINSTER Lovell are in the Oxfordshire semi-finals of the Cricketer National Village Cup for the first time after seeing off Horley.

Harry Ebsworth’s 5-30 restricted the hosts to 170-9 in 40 overs, before Eddie Dunn (45no) saw Minster to 171-5.

They will meet Tiddington in the last four after Ben Smith (5-34) and Archie Davis (71) saw them to a four-wicket win over Cropredy.

The other semi-final sees Cumnor host Langford.

Cumnor won an enthralling tie against Horspath by one wicket with just three balls to spare after a sensational tenth-wicket partnership.

A stand of 42 between Joe Clapton and Sam Herbert saw Cumnor pass their target of 217, Herbert hitting a six to win the match.

Langford eased to a

six-wicket win at Oxford & Bletchingdon Nondescripts.
