ALAN Hill trained his 300th point-to-point winner during a treble at Kimble on Easter Saturday.
The Aston Rowant handler secured victories in the first three races of the day.
Changeofluck made all under Jack Andrews to win the opening Conditions race, staying on well to see off the closing Midnight King by one-and-a-half lengths.
The same combination then landed the Maiden, when Normofthenorth led his six rivals from flagfall for a comfortable victory, Hill’s 300th in point-to-points.
The trainer then completed his treble – and an across the card five-timer after wins at Charing and Higham – in the Novice riders’ race when Supreme Danehill and Dan Cherriman enjoyed a bloodless 25-length victory.
Hill and Andrews were close to another success when Namako looked to have seen off his rivals in the Men’s Open.
But Downbythestrand rallied after the last to record a three-quarter-of-a-length win for trainer Fred Hutsby.
Dabinett Moon recorded a 19th career success in the Ladies Open, 18 of which have come under jockey Claire Hardwick.
