FOUR Horspath Hammers members starred at the prestigious ‘Dash Trophies’ meeting.
With the top riders in the country taking part, Will Jeffrey and Jack Ellis produced superb displays in the junior category.
Jeffery, 17, dropped just two points but agonisingly missed out on the title by a solitary point, finishing third overall.
Ellis gave a good account and was pleased with his eight-point haul.
In the senior categories there was a double medal success for Horspath.
Lukasz Nowacki produced a series of fine rides to come home in second place.
And there was more reason to celebrate when Zac Payne – who finished in a tie for third – won the race-off to secure the bronze medal.
